Camera Traps: GoPro hero3

Built on a shoestring budget to survive extreme weather, these GoPro camera traps were deployed near Yellowstone national park and captured bears, otters and other wildlife in temperatures as low as -36C.

They have also been adapted to work with InfraRed converted GoPros and to power & trigger InfraRed lighting.

Features

  • Dual wide field PIR sensors which offer a 180 degree detection angle and can also be set to only trigger when both are triggered at the same time.
  • Light sensor which will keep the unit powered down at night.
  • Wireless triggering, if one unit is triggered then it will wirelessly trigger any other units in range on the same (selectable) channel.
